::Expresar el Amor::

Hay momentos en que somos tímidos para expresar el amor que sentimos, por temor a avergonzar a la otra persona o avergonzarnos nosotros mismos, dudamos de decir "te quiero" y tratamos de comunicar la idea de otras formas y con otras palabras...

Decimos "Cuídate", "Conduce con cuidado", "Pórtate bien"... Pero realmente, estas son diferentes maneras de decir "te quiero", "eres importante para mí", "me importa lo que te suceda", "No quiero que estés mal".

A veces somos muy extraños. La única cosa que queremos decir y la única cosa que debemos decir, es la única cosa que no decimos. Y muchas veces el significado nunca se comunica del todo, y la otra persona se siente ignorada y no-querida.

Por ello, debemos ESCUCHAR EL AMOR en las palabras que se nos dicen. Las palabras explícitas son necesarias, pero con mayor frecuencia, la manera de decir las cosas es aún más importante. Un apodo dicho cariñosamente porta mayor afecto y amor que los sentimientos que son expresados de manera poco sincera. Un abrazo o un beso impulsivos dicen "TE AMO", aún cuando las palabras utilizadas digan algo diferente. Cualquier expresión de preocupación de una persona por otra dice "te quiero".

A veces deberíamos mirar y escuchar más atentamente el amor que contienen las palabras. El problema de escuchar el amor es que no siempre entendemos el lenguaje de amor que la otra persona está usando. La gente rara vez escucha. Oyen las palabras, pero no escuchan en las acciones que acompañan a esas palabras o en las facciones del rostro. O la gente sólo escucha el rechazo o el malentendido. No ven el amor que está allí, debajo de la superficie, aún cuando las palabras sean amargas.

Si escuchamos atentamente, descubriremos que somos muchísimo más amados de lo que pensamos.

Escuchemos al amor, y haciéndolo descubriremos que, después de todo, el mundo es un lugar muy amoroso.

No se trata de estar presente CON alguien.
Se trata de estar presente PARA alguien.

Así que recuerda: Si amas a alguien díselo.
Recuerda siempre decir lo que sientes. Nunca tengas temor de EXPRESAR EL AMOR.
